Download Cisco Switch IOS for GNS3

Cisco switch ios for gns3:

In Gns3 by default there is no such option for creating switch topology, but you can use the router as a switch with NM-16ESW module. There are number of IOS which can support NM-16ESW module, one of most common Switch IOS for GNS3 is 3600 series c3640.

    The file, Gns IOS for switch.bin does not work. When I attach it to the hypervisor, it creates the .image file and a test in the hypervisor setup is successful; however, when I try to place the device in a project I get the following error, 'R6: error from server 127.0.0.1:7202: 206-unable to create VM instance 'ghost-c3640-Gns3 IOS for switch.image-127.0.0.1.ghost'. Other images are working, so it is not a permissions problem.

    Can someone verify the check sum for this file? I ran WinMD5Free v1.20 and got this checksum, 38870ae5c981cb4447462a8627e8cf2a.

    The IOS image is bad. Downloaded a fresh image and that worked fine.

    I get this error message only with the switch image:
    R1:error drom server 127.0.0.1:7200: 203-Bad naumber of parameters ( 5 with min /max=2/2)

    on connecting PIX Fire wall to other device this error arrive "QUMA WRAPER DOES NOT HOT LINK" please advice.

      You need to stop the devices and connect after which you can power up.

    hello,
    GNS3 worked for a while and then i upgraded to v1.5.3 and that's were all my problems started. Now when i start GNS3 i get "could not connect to GNS3 server 172.31.99.144:3080 (please check your firewall settings)". I am not going through a firewall. Nothing works presently, any help?
